Not sure it can be found, even a youtube clip mentioned in a blog as an example seems to have disappeared. It was a failure, and the reason Friends was never a popular show in Portugal, they did not even show the whole first season.

One exception I can think of, some 20 years ago, a private tv decided to introduce dubbing for adults, and they went all out with it, a popular series and a big cast and so on, they picked a popular new tv show: Friends. Otherwise it´s really unlikely anything which gets dubbed will get official translation.

I think your only chance of finding something which has both subtitles and a dubbing ( and careful because it might not match) is movies for kids, they produce dubbed versions for the theaters but they produce subtitles also for adults, and also when the first versions of the movie leak it is always in the original. Careful because sometimes brazillian portuguese subtitles are passed off as european portuguese, but you will notice it. Exceptions are things for kids, google for tuga animado for example.įor subtitles, subtitles are usually just a file which can be looked for separately, subtitles can even, often are, fan created, there are websites just for it. In Portugal we call it dobragem, not dublagem and I doubt you would find any series voice dubbed in european portuguese because we really really don´t like voice dubbing.
